The internal fiber of the hemp plant is so absorbant, bedding usage is drastically cut down. Reports as low as 1 bale per year for a chicken coup and 1 bale per week for stall maintenance, dependent on owner use and preference.
Low Dust
Low dust means healthy animals and healthy you! Say goodbye to the upper respiratory issues of traditional kiln dried wood shavings. Not only is it low dust, but spraying the freshly laid hemp bedding with a mist of water helps open the fibers up for super absorbancy, as well as eliminates any dust there may have been.
